About Framing – when Presentation and Preservation is Everything

About Framing – when Presentation and Preservation is Everything
If there is one that is definitely worthwhile investing in and could afford to, it is custom framing.
I have looked at and gathered photos of some of my favorite frames, most of which are variations of the antique silver.

The great thing about having your keepsake ketubah framed is that the custom framers is that it is not only one of the best investments, but framers also consider the mat paper and mat paper’s color that goes between the artwork and frame.

Here are some pointers when selecting the right frame: consider the artwork that is being framed what type of frame would best match/ enhance the color scheme of the artwork. For example, if your artwork is painted with gold, I would consider a vintage gold frame over a vintage silver one. You may also want to consider the interior decor of your home in which the ketubah will be displayed at. For papercut frames, you may want to consider a wooden frame or even a vintage white one.

There is also a site I have recently discovered, http://simplyframed.com/ where they have a huge collection of framing options available. Even if you do not plan to purchase their products or services, it still is a great way to familiarize with and browse through their collection to get some ideas and inspiration.
